How It Works (Formula & Method)

A standard modular brick with a 3⁄8″ mortar joint takes about seven bricks per square foot of wall face. Multiply the wall area by that figure and add a waste allowance for breakage and cuts. A rough mortar estimate is one 80 lb bag per 30–35 bricks.
